Agne Daugintyte
Before Agne moved to the Netherlands to continue her studies she shared her thoughts on her time here at 5plus.
What has your journey into architecture looked like?
I finished my bachelor’s at Manchester School of Architecture and moved straight to London to work at 5plus.
What have you enjoyed most about your time at 5plus?
What I have enjoyed most about my time at 5plus is the vibrant atmosphere and the opportunity to learn from a talented team. The supportive and motivating environment have allowed me to continually grow and excel in my work.
Was there anything you disliked about your time at 5plus?
Boiling temperatures in the office on hot summer days.
What was your favourite project during your time at 5plus?
It is hard to choose one! During the past two years I had great opportunities to work on projects of different scales and uses. I have enjoyed working on bigger scale projects for London Fire Brigade as well as small adaptation type projects like Malt House Barn in Nettlebed.
What has been the most valuable thing you have learnt during your time at 5plus?
My two years at 5plus taught me good design and problem-solving skills as well as interdisciplinary skills that are invaluable in both professional and everyday life.
What do you have planned next?
I am moving to Netherlands to pursue my master’s degree at TU Delft and continue my professional journey toward becoming an architect.
Good luck Agne!
