Practice visit to Sheffield
The practice visited the much-anticipated pre-launch of the first phase of the West Bar masterplan earlier this month to have a first look at the first 3 buildings.
West Bar is a £300 million, 1 million sqft regeneration scheme that comprises the largest office floorplate in Sheffield and 10 flexible building plots.
Delivery of the first phase at West Bar commenced in 2022. This phase includes No.1 West Bar Square – 100,000 sqft of office space together with 368 high quality build-to-rent apartments
The phase also includes major public realm, West Bar Square and Soho Yard with provision for shops, cafes and restaurants at ground floor level which will be completed by the end of this year.
It was quite a feat to make sure that 50 of us were available to be together and incredible to bring the team to visit this major regeneration scheme for Sheffield to celebrate our collaborative milestone.
