9-11 The Forum will introduce 225 residential units to the heart of Stevenage town centre. Stevenage is renowned for its thriving life sciences sector, home to major organizations like GSK, as well as a growing cluster of start-up companies. With this growth, there is a clear need for suitable housing to attract knowledge workers to the area.

The 225 apartments will provide high-quality rental homes. Sizes vary to cater to individuals, couples, and families, with layouts that are both spacious and thoughtfully designed. A generously sized amenity space is located on the mezzanine level, with direct access via an accommodation staircase from the resident arrival lounge. This communal hub includes working lounges, games rooms, and a gym, while roof terraces and entertainment spaces offer more tailored settings for relaxation and socialising.

The building occupies a site with two party walls, which has been leveraged to optimize the floor plan. Lightwells have been incorporated into the lower floors, while dual-aspect apartments above maximise natural light and views. This unique layout has influenced a reductive approach to the massing, resulting in a stepped design that provides relief to the high street and an elegant silhouette from longer-range vistas.

Planning approval was achieved in spring 2025.
