As part of this financial investors European expansion, we were engaged for the interior design of their new northern home. Located in Manchester’s high-profile city centre location, St Peter’s Square, the scheme will provides 28,000sqft over two floors of high-end sustainable fit-out, with a single floor in phase 1 completed in October 2023 and phase 2 introduces a feature accommodation stair to link an additional floor and completed in February 2025.

The interior fit-out comprises the following functions alongside adaptable workspace and collaborative work settings:

  • Reception – a secure welcome space with meeting rooms and amenity
  • Meeting rooms – a range of flexible adaptable meeting spaces varying in size and enclosure
  • Training suite – a large adaptable space with the ability to divide into two smaller suites
  • Quiet working spaces – a range of pods and booths for both collaborative and individual working
  • IT suite – includes tech bar, comms room and IT build room
  • Hub – an open multi-purpose amenity space with large presentation capability and kitchen facilities
  • Feature accommodation stair – a central feature of the design connecting the two floorplates
  • Secondary café space – extends and enhances the hub offering providing supplementary breakout space
  • Library and open collaboration spaces – to promote collaboration
  • Wellness and recovery rooms – private rooms supporting various well-being and recovery functions
  • Print facilities – comprises reprographics facilities and waste station
  • Support spaces – facilities management spaces including storage and maintenance rooms

In addition to the interior design services, 5plus were commissioned to provide graphic design and visualisation services as well as leading on the procurement of furniture, planting, artwork and dressing of the space with accessories. 5plus also supported the change management process with the production of welcome material for new recruits.
